Distractfold have been selected to participate in the 47th International Summer Course for New Music, via the boost! platform for young ensembles. 

Our showcase concert takes place on the evening of August 12th at Central Station, Darmstadt. We will present a programme of the following works:

Mauricio Pauly, Another Celibate Machine, for amplified ensemble (contrabass flute, guitar, violin, cello, percussion) and live electronics

Sam Salem, Too Late, Too Far, electroacoustic work (World Premiere)

Steve Takasugi, The man who couldn't stop laughing or Sodom by the sea, for two mixed (amplified) quartets and tape
